Robert Smallwood | Secondary Education Educator
Robert Smallwood retired from his decorated career in teaching in 2005, after more than 40 years teaching students in social studies and business. Mr. Smallwood was set on his career after receiving a Bachelor of Science in commerce and business administration from Rider College. He continued to earn a Master of Arts in school administration and supervision from the same university in 1976. In 1983, he attended Rutger’s University where he earned an Ed.S in educational administration and supervision.
Mr. Smallwood served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1972 and is a Vietnam veteran. Throughout his life, he has made it a priority to be active in his community and has been affiliated with various civic organizations. Mr. Smallwood has provided his skills as the Assistant Operations Officer for the Trenton CD Unit, as an Assistant Disaster Analysis Officer, as a trustee with the New Jersey Council for Alcohol/Drug education and several other organizations.
